Lucie Duškovábaroque & classical flute
studied the Church Conservatoire in Kroměříž. From the year 2000 she studied Baroque, Classical and Renaissance flute at the Staatliche Hochschule für Alte Musik Trossingen, with Linde Brunmayr-Tutz. Later she studied for one year at the Royal Conservatoire Den Haag with Barthold Kuijken. As a soloist she many times appeared with the Staatliche Hochschule für Alte Musik Trossingen Baroque Orchestra. Presently, she co-works with the Baroque ensembles Hipocondria, Solamente Naturali, Collegium 1704, Musica Florea, and Quartetto Quadrifoglio.
She is teaching recorders at the Conservatory in České Budějovice where she also set up the baroque flute side field. She leads the baroque flute department at the Academy of Early Music at the Faculty of Letters at the Masaryk University, Brno. She is a sought after tutor at early music courses home and abroad.
About The Class
In her class, Lucie Dušková will focus the Baroque and Classical flute technique, production of tone, its colour nuances, dynamics and articulation especially, in accordance with the historical treatises
The class is intended for advanced players, wishing to polish their technique, as well as the modern flute students, who would like to find information on historical instruments and early music interpretation.
The choice of the repertoire (Baroque and Classical) depends of the students‘ interests. The beginners will obtain simple music at the course itself.
