Dagmar Valentová
Children orchestraDagmar Valentová, known to her friends as Dáša, studied violin and viola at the Teplice Conservatory. During her studies, she began collaborating with various early music ensembles, including Musica Antiqua Praha, Musicalische Compagney, and Musica Florea (where she was a founding member and concertmaster).
After graduating, she was awarded a scholarship to study early music at the Academy of Music in Kraków. She subsequently spent two years studying in Milan at the Civica Scuola di Musica Milano in the class of Enrico Gatti. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Masaryk University in Brno, in the Department of Early Music.
Dagmar is also engaged in the preparation of educational music programs for primary schools. She has already realized three such programs in Italy and two in the Czech Republic, with a third Czech program currently in preparation.
She continues to perform on baroque violin and viola with many international ensembles, including Collegium 1704, Czech Ensemble Baroque, BEMF Orchestra, Solamente naturali Bratislava, Festival Orchestra Göttingen, Concerto Copenhagen, Zmesskal Quartett, and the B’Rock Orchestra.
