Veronika Svačinová
Children´s orchestraVeronika Svačinová is a violinist, violist on both modern and early instruments. The leadership of the youth class came out of all her experience in leading various youth groups. She regularly joins juries at children’s competitions, where she also participates frequently and successfully with her pupils. She regularly teaches at LŠBH Holešov and organizes children’s music camps. Now she works at the Mikulov Elementary School and actively plays with various early music ensembles (Collegium 1704, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Musica Florea and others). In addition to her own ensemble, she also leads a youth cimbalom band in Valtice.
About The Class
Mixed instruments with the prevalence of strings. Both beginners and more advanced players can employ their skills and enjoy playing in the children’s orchestra, as the teacher of the class will adapt the arrangements according to the actual skill level of the players. Although the main emphasis is put on early music, several modern pieces are included every year.
Participation in the class is conditioned by the level of music skills equivalent to the successfully finished second year of Music School.
Children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult person during the whole course.
Suggested Repertoire
Technically accessible short pieces.
