Tereza Indráková
Atelier of Dance and Movement

Tereza has been studying dance and music since her childhood. Both of her parents had been founding members of Chorea Bohemica while her main professional focus is in the contemporary dance and movement theatre. After studies of classical, modern techniques  and choreography with P. Šmok at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, postgraduate in dance research of Dance Space in modern state of Israel, she completed the studies of judaism at the Charles University in Prague. One year of training and performing with Batsheva Ensemble in Tel Aviv led by Ohad Naharin has a been influential for dance and pedagogical approach. She cooperated as a dancer with front choreographers and artist of Czech and international dance scene (P. Tyc, J. Kodet, VerTe Dance, M. Eliášová, bratři Formanové, C. Turba, P. Štourač, I. Popovici, O. Naharin,  Nir Ben Gal, I. Tadmor, Nir de Volf, Victoria Marks, Lizzy Le Quesne, P. Taylor, D. Williams). She performed  in many dance and theatre festivals in Czech, Europe, Israel and New York. She was a member of Continuo Theatre with witch performs regurally in the National Theatre in Prague and has been part of different independent dance projects of the scene. She is co-creator of several dance films. She made o choreography for Henry Purcell’ s  Fairy Queen  with opera director M. Švecová. She gives dance lessons and workshops for professionals, semi – professionals as well as  general public.

About The Class

Atelier of dance and movement is welcoming young students age  10 – 14 without or with former experience.  Creative and playful approach of the dance workshop can be running indoor and outdoor at the castle garden. Physical warm up, rythm and movement  excersices and games will be part of the work based on a group synchronicity before studying simple dances of renaissance period and of Jewish circle dances.
