J. M. Pichler – Kyrie

J. M. Pichler – Gloria

At the Friday concert, we will present a modern premiere of a part from the Mass in D major by the Valtice composer Johann Melchior Pichler, which likely resonated in the local parish church. The composition is mainly choral, but it also offers the opportunity to study small solo parts.

A. Stradella-L’Anime del Purgatorio

Cantata a 5 “Esule dalle sfere”, also known as “L’anime del Purgatorio”, is a small oratorio in the beautiful Italian style of the late seventeenth century. It is composed of choral sections, but also features shorter and larger solo recitatives and arias, which can be selectively prepared for the Friday performance at the parish church.

Monteverdi: Lamento d’Ariana Madrigal

This piece will be part of the performance at the final concert in the castle riding hall.
