Michaela Ambrosi
Baroque & Classical flute

Michaela Ambrosi is both modern and historical flute player, pedagogue, and music researcher. As a soloist, chamber, and orchestral player, she also performed on many European stages together with ensembles focused on early music. She graduated at the Prague Conservatoire, Charles University in Prague, Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Conservatorio di Verona and at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Michaela received a doctral degree for her work on the life and compositions of Georg Czarth at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, where she also established herself as a teacher of historical transverse flutes. Michaela works also as an editor of eighteenth-century sheet music by neglected Bohemian composers. Notably, she recorded some of these compositions for the Czech Radio, and in 2020, Radioservis made a release of her first solo CD named Jiří Čart / Georg Czarth – Forgotten Flute Sonatas.
