Born in Valencia, she studied Guitar and Singing at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia. After getting in June 2002 the “Second Prize of Bachelor in Singing”, she continues her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo de Valencia. In 2006 she was awarded with the “Third Prize of Chamber Music”, “Public Prize” and also with the “Best Performer from Valencia Prize” at the V Certamen Internacional of Guitar Luys Milán Vila de l´Olleria.

After winning a scholarship from Instituto Valenciano de la Música (Generalitat Valenciana) to expand her studies, she moves to The Netherlands, where she completes her “Master Degree in Early Music Singing” at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, specializing in the first Baroque Italian Music, with the particularity of the performace practice of that time, singing and accompanying herself on the theorbo. About The Class

The “Renaissance and Early Baroque Solo Singing Class” is focused on the solo vocal repertoire from the Early Baroque Italian music. This repertoire embraces works by composers such as Giulio Caccini, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Claudio Monteverdi, Jacopo Peri, Sigismondo D´India, Francesca Caccini, Barbara Strozzi  and others.

The class will also work on vocal repertoire from the Early Spanish Music composers such as José Marín, Juan Hidalgo, Sebastián Durón.

The class will also work on Renaissance solo vocal repertoire from England and Spain, flourished throughout composers like John Dowland, Robert Johnson, Luis de Milán, Luis de Narvaez…
