Michaela Ambrosi
Baroque & Classical flute


Michaela Ambrosi was born in Jeseník, Czech Silesia – situated in the north east of the Czech Republic. She graduated from her studies of modern flute with Jan Riedlbauch and recorder with Jakub Kydlíček at the Prague Conservatory. Michaela holds a Bachelors degree in Historical Informed Practise from the Charles University in Prague where she studied with Jana Semerádová, and BMus and MMus degrees in traverso playing from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where she studied with Wilbert Hazelzet and Kate Clark. Michaela also learned from Marcello Gatti at the Conservatorio “Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco” in Verona during her Erasmus study program.

About The Class

Participants with modern flutes are also welcome. If you are interested in a loan of a baroque flute, please contact the teacher in advance through registrace@early-music.cz.

Suggested Repertoire

Any repertoire for baroque or classicist flute is welcome. The teacher will also have a number of suitable compositions to offer.

Level Of Skills Required

The class is open to advanced players on baroque or classicist flute, but will also accommodate those who have just started or would like to start playing this instrument.
