The XXVth ISSEM is to bring numerous innovations as a reaction to your demands and comments. We hope that you will enjoy and appreciate them.
First times ever there will be the opportunity to meet in Valtice the following five tutors: Julie Hassler from France (voice, ornamentation), Róbert Šebesta from Slovakia (clarinet, basset horn), Alena Hönigová (harpsichord), Martina Bernášková (Baroque Flute) and Diana Scrivener from Great Britain (Renaissance dance). There will be again Dorothée Wortelboer (Renaissance/Baroque dance) – and also Lorenzo Charoy (Baroque acting). Medieval and Renaissance music (recorders, keyboard instruments) will be again taught by Corina Marti and Irena Troupová comes once again to teach solo singing. As a violin tutor, Gunar Letzbor will come back and as a solo recorder tutor Gábor Prehoffer. Jiří Hodina will teach Gregorian chant, Michael Pospíšil’s class will dedicate its time to Bohemian hymnals. Madrigal lovers should look for the classes of Poppy Holden and Lukáš Vendl. The singers and instrumentalists should join the Baroque orchestra (Marek Štryncl) and the choral classes (Marek Štryncl, Robert Hugo). And, indeed, also all the other tutors are looking forward to meeting you - their students!
